  • Last entry to site is 7:30pm each day
  • Last entry to Santa’s Groto is 8:45pm
  • The Illuminated Trail will close at 9:00pm
  • All customers must exit all car parks by 9:30pm

 

All customers must attend the event in the allocated 90 mins ticket time period on the date you’ve purchased your ticket for. Customers cannot be guaranteed entry if they don’t arrive on their allocated date and time.

All dates and times are non negotiable and agreed with local authorities.

Head to Beecraigs Country Park, by Linlithgow, West Lothian. Please follow AA signage from all approaches. SatNav info > EH49 6PL

All tickets must be bought online in advance & strictly no ticket no entry. Tickets are on sale now. There will be no Box Office on site.

Your whole experience should last about 90 mins (Illumination Trail, Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience, food, amusements, etc).

Tickets are ON SALE NOW and you can buy the following:

  1. Adult Tickets
  2. Child Tickets
  3. Family Tickets*
  4. Santa Tickets

* A family ticket allows entry for 4 people (2x Adults and 2x Children / 1x Adult and 3x Children) per ticket. Please note -it’s a maximum of 2 adults per family ticket

Booking tickets is easy…

Step one

Firstly you buy your Illumination Trail tickets.

Step two

All Illumination Trail tickets, must be accompanied by a mandatory car parking pass. You can book up to 2 parking spaces per booking. Where you require additional parking spaces, please contact support@liveit.io.

As parking is extremely limited, please book the minimum parking spaces required.

You then decide if you also want to visit Santa and Mrs Claus.

Please note – Santa and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience tickets cannot be bought without actioning step one.

To buy a Santa visit and/or Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience ticket – you can choose to visit Santa/Mrs Claus anytime during your allocated 90 mins ticket time (The Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience takes about 20 mins) so you can decide to visit him before you go into the Illumination Trail or afterwards.

It’s really whatever your personal preference is But don’t worry – it works both ways!

Just choose the date and times you want to go into the Festive Forest and add them into your basket.

Step three

Review your basket. Purchase your tickets. Your tickets will be sent direct to your inbox, via email.

It’s really that simple!

Your ticket covers entry into the Illumination Trail only.

Santa’s Grotto and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience, Attractions and Festive street food and drink are all additional extras & not included in the price of the Illumination Trail ticket.

You can buy the following tickets in advance:

🎅🏻 Santa’s Grotto and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience (which can only be purchased with the Illumination Trail)

All other attractions (Children’s amusements, retail units and international street food and drink) are all additional extras & not included in the price of the Illumination Trail or Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience tickets.

All additional extras cannot be paid for in advance and are all payable on the night. Please bring cash and cards as the service in the Forest is poor.

Please purchase your Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience tickets ahead of your visit. They can only be purchased along with Illuminated Trail tickets. Tickets to visit Santa and Mrs Claus cannot be purchased on their own. You must have a ticket to the illuminated trail.

If you already have booked your Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience, please ensure this falls within your 90 minute booking period for the Illuminated Trail. You can visit Santa/Mrs Claus anytime during your 90 minute booking.

Only children need a ticket to see Santa/Mrs Claus, not accompanying adults. All children require a Santa/Mrs Claus ticket if you wish your child to visit Santa/Mrs Claus.

Family groups should be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults, due to space restrictions.

Both Santa and Mrs Claus are with us this year!

Both are in their own individual areas and visited separately. You can choose to visit both or only one – the choice is yours.

Santa
Visit Santa is in his magical Grotto where he will be waiting to personally meet your children. Santa will chat to your child and they will receive a small gift.

Mrs Claus
Visit Mrs Claus in her lovely Group Storytelling Experience. She runs children’s group sessions every 20 minutes, with last entry being around 8:45/9:00pm latest. The children will love her mesmerising stories in an intimate setting and Mrs Claus and her Elves are looking forward to seeing all the children.

Please book Santa/Mrs Claus alongside your Illumination Trail tickets. These tickets must be booked alongside an Illumination Trail ticket and cannot be purchased individually. All children require a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note : due to the popularity of Santa and Mrs Claus at this time of year, queues are inevitable and our team work hard to keep the queue moving and entertained. We ask for your full understanding and support.

The person you are caring for should buy a ticket in the usual way. Then fill out the following below;

You just need to provide the booking details and we will send you the free Carers ticket.

Only children need a ticket to see Santa and Mrs Claus, not accompanying adults.

Children must be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults per family group, due to space restrictions in and around the Grotto.

The Santa visit and Mrs Claus Group Storytelling Experience will last approximately 20 minutes.

The event will last up to 90 minutes. Please dress for the weather!
Our preferred method of payment is by cash as the signal in the forest is poor. We cannot guarantee the availability of cashless payments.

Parking at the event is free. Please be sure to book your parking ticket when purchasing your ticket online.

However, parking is extremely limited and we would request that your group use the minimum number of cars possible to visit the event. We understand of course that groups or larger families will require more than one car and this will be accommodated where we can. Please note: if your booking is for 4 people or less your tickets will include one car space. It will help the event organisers greatly if you can maximise the space in your car.

Blue badge parking bays are on a ‘first-come’ basis in the Visitor Centre Car Park. Cars must display blue badges to gain entry. In the event of there being no disabled parking bays, you will need to park in the regular car park.

Absolutely! It is wonderful for all ages. Please ensure all children under 16 are accompanied at all times.
Yes, absolutely. All paths are accessible with care. However, please remember it is a forest, it is the winter and we are in Scotland, so some adverse weather conditions may occasionally impact the route in certain places. Please take this into consideration when purchasing your ticket. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather!

We are very sorry but strictly no pets are allowed on site.

Only assistance/support pets with the required authorised paper work will be allowed permission into the event.

While service pets are welcome at our event please let us know in advance if you will have your service dog with you so that our stewards do not challenge you on entry.

Yes! There will be the use of lasers and strobe lighting throughout the event. Appropriate signage will be in place.
Yes, please do! Photography and video for personal use and sharing via social media is encouraged! It’s going to look amazing! Share your Festive Forest images with everyone using #BFF23

We are sharing the park with a huge range of wildlife and must protect the country park’s environment. Please make sure you use the bins on site, or take it home with you.

There is a strict NO SMOKING policy throughout the entire event site.

Yes! There are opportunities to buy delicious food and drink throughout the event site. We would remind the preferred payment method is cash, due to unstable network issues.

Please note: No food or drink can be brought on site.

Bring your home-printed Ticket or download to your mobile phone. You’ll be asked to show display your car park pass on your dash on arrival at car park – there’s no drop off zone and your ticket allows one entry and exit.

Tickets are only valid for the specific date and entry time stated on the ticket, selected at the time of booking.

Please understand, we can’t guarantee entry if you miss your allotted slot.

Tickets are non-transferrable. All barcodes are unique and once scanned, cannot be used again.

No, children under 3 will not require a ticket to access the illuminated trail. Children from ages 4 and upwards, do require a ticket

1. REFUNDS
Refunds will only ever be offered in the case of a full event cancellation (see point 3 below).

All information regarding this is in our T&Cs when you purchase your ticket

2. TRANSFER/EXCHANGES
All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

3. CANCELLATION

The event will only be cancelled if extreme weather makes the route unsafe or if there’s a major fault in our electrical supply or equipment.

A decision to cancel would be taken by no later than 2pm on the day, and notice would be posted online.

In the rare event of Rowen Events having to cancel the event, you will be offered the following 3 options:

A. You can transfer/exchange your tickets to another available date/timeslot for our BFF23 event (subject to availability)

B. You can rollover your BFF23 tickets to our BFF24 VIP event.
C. If neither A or B above is unsuitable or cannot be accommodated then a refund will be offered.
Please note – refunds are only ever offered in the case of a full event cancellation. No other refunds will be given.

We offer a 20% discount on tickets for NHS, Police and Fire Service staff. Contact your local staff benefits provider for more info. Please note, the 20% discount applies to Illuminated Trail tickets and does not include Santa’s Grotto.

We also provide a free ticket for registered carers. This can be requested here.

We are aware that Covid-19 is still out there! Please sensible and do not attend the event if you feel you have Covid type symptoms. 

We will always follow the latest U.K./Scottish government guidelines to help keep everyone safe (which you can view here).

Buses are returning and running to/from Beecraigs Festive Forest this year!

Please note – buses are not included in your BFF23 ticket price and are an additional extra. 

When buying your tickets please tick the box that indicates you wish to use the bus service and our partner Harry Ferguson buses will contact you direct regarding your requirements.

Notes

Buggies can be accommodated on shuttle buses but there is limited space. 

Sadly no wheelchair access on shuttle buses but discounted quotes can be provided for private hire on request.
