“It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the postponement of Beecraigs Festive Forest 2020. The wellbeing of our customers and staff has been our priority from the outset and we went to great lengths to ensure we could put on a safe, fun, family event. We followed every instruction passed to us from Scottish Government to the letter. However, following the decision of West Lothian Council to refuse an entertainment license for our illuminated trail, we have no other option left than to postpone our event until 2021. We are absolutely gobsmacked and frustrated by this decision that was taken out of our hands so late on the day. We are absolutely gutted that we are having to disappoint so many people and we feel truly let down by our local authority.
On making this announcement we are now able to offer ticket holders the following 2 options:
We please ask for patience on refund requests as this is obviously an exceptional situation and we are working with a very small team of staff so it may take time to manage all the administration. All refund requests must be received by 5pm on Friday 27th November 2020. Beyond that, we will automatically carry your tickets over to 2021.
In writing this, we appreciate that our event is not a priority at present and we sincerely hope that you all stay safe and healthy this Christmas and hope we can look forward to better times.
Thank you. Roy, Ewen and the team at Beecraigs Festive Forest. See you in 2021!
